Good experience
of trekking desired. Mustang, formerly part of Tibet, is an enclave
in the Nepalese territory. Under the aegis of an easy-going "little
king", this country was opened to treks only since 1992.
For a long time it was completely closed, and only some Tibetologists
like Michel PEISSEL or Giuseppe TUCCI could reach it. Situated
50 kms behind the massifs of Annapurnas and Dhaulagiris, this
legendary and secret country, comprises of vast stretches of
water and of yellow and grey rocks, of cave-dwellers in the red
cliffs, of immense canyons where sometime blow the violent winds
and the surprisingly fortified capital of Lho Manthang. This
little kingdom of Tibetan culture possesses several active monasteries
that still enclose the treasures of Buddhist arts..( From

Treks
in lodge with standard hotel:
All treks are in full
board. Accommodation and meals in the Lodges (good quality
locale food, the meals are not order by each client in every
lodge, but following the menu proposed by the guide). All
the transports (go/back on the places of trek and during the
trek). Accompany by a professional Guide and one porter for 2
persons to carry your bags (maximum 20 kg for 2 persons). Trekking
permit and reconfirmation of your return plane ticket.
In Kathmandu,welcome at airport,transfer hotel / airport.
standard hotel with breakfast inclusive rooms with shower, hot
water near the center of Thamel.
IN POKHARA: Hotel standard near lake.

TREK UNDER TENT: Camping trek includes a team of guide,
assistant, cook & porters to accompany you. Porters carry
all trekking gears, food, fuel, & personal belongings, and
cook and assistants prepares hot meals. Trekkers carry only small
bag or what they might need during the day. we provide dining
tents, sleeping tents, mattress and toilet tents. |

TREK IN LODGE. The lodges are simple mountain shelters,
providing meals (very good local food) and simple rooms with
2 or 4 beds (Only in Ledhar and Phedi, it is a common dormitory).
In each lodge, you find a room with water (same as shower) for
bath. The treks in lodge pass in a very convivial atmosphere
permitting to have a closer look of Nepalese mountain life and
to encounter new person every day. It also permits to be in warm
room (kitchen and restaurant room) in cold season… |

FOOD DURING
TREK: Base of meals during
the trek are, rice, noodles, potatoes, (porridge for breakfast).
all are slow-sugar, its the best food for well walking. In lodge-trek
the lunch is taken in lodges on the way ( hot meal). The guide
order the food |

Note: All participants have to give a copy
of their insurance, with the address, tel and fax number of insurance
company. This insurance has to cover the helicopter rescue in
case of accident or sickness. In case of your insurance don't
cover helicopter rescue, you have to fill a form in Kathmandu
and make agreement that you will pay yourself the amount of expenses
paid by Nepal Ecology Treks for your helicopter rescue or research.
Without this agreement, you cannot participate in trek.
** In
trek the guide is allowed
to change the itinerary, depending of the weather, climate and
the physical condition of participants. Each participant who
stop his trek or make this trek more-fast cannot ask any money
compensation to the agency. |

a free dispensary in the mountains of Helambu in Nepal, and for
