This trek demand
a good experience of trekking & a very good physical proficiency.One
of the most beautiful trek of Nepal,which takes big part of great
circuit of Annapurnas & which allows to admire the set of
high summits of Annapurnas, of which 8 high summits of more than
8000 metres of himalayan ranges before returning by plane from
jomsom to pokhara.A trek which leaves from regions with tropical
vegetation for overtaking high valleys.a big variety of landscapes
& panoramas. maximum altitude 5415 metres on the pass of
THORANG pass .this trek is investigated so as to what there should
have been a good acclimatisation to the altitude before the crossing
of the pass. |

(950 meters) by local bus. Place for trek
Day .4 Departure from Beshisahar for NAGDI (5
hours walk) good view on the Natti chulli(7800 meters). Start
of long climbing upto day.11
Day .5 Departure from NAGDI
for JAGAT 14oo meters(6 hours approximately),ancient customs
station with tibet.
Day .6 Departure from Jagat
for DHARAPANI(2000 meters -6 hours)
Day .7 Departure from Dharapani for CHAME(2685
meters)5 hours-first tibetian village.
Day .8 Departure from Chame
for PISANG(3200 meters)5 hours
Day .9 Departure from Pisang for MANANG(3535

Day .10 . Manang rest. Acclimatization day for
the altitude.

Day .13 Departure from THORANG PHEDI for MUKTINATH
(3800 meters)ca.8 hours-crossing by pass of Thorang la at 5416
meters. This stage is peculiar because some strong winds start
in pass at 0800 hours in morning. It is therefore necessary to
leave from Thorang Phedi at 0200 hours in morning approximately
for crossing pass on time.It is thus necessary to provide for
some electric lamps(forehead if possible)for being able to walk
at night for 3hours (provide spare battery)

Day .15 Departure from Muktinath for Jomsom 2715

Day .16 Departure from Jomsom for Pokhara by
plane. hotel near the lake.
Day .17 Departure form Pokhara
to Kathmandu by tourist bus (if you come by flying over the mountain
it will be extra supplementry US$69)

Treks
in lodge with standard hotel:
All treks are in full
board. Accommodation and meals in the Lodges (good quality
locale food, the meals are not order by each client in every
lodge, but following the menu proposed by the guide). All
the transports (go/back on the places of trek and during the
trek). Accompany by a professional Guide and one porter for 2
persons to carry your bags (maximum 20 kg for 2 persons). Trekking
permit and reconfirmation of your return plane ticket.
In Kathmandu,welcome at airport,transfer hotel / airport.
standard hotel with breakfast inclusive rooms with shower, hot
water near the center of Thamel.
IN POKHARA: Hotel standard near lake.

TREK UNDER TENT: Camping trek includes a team of guide,
assistant, cook & porters to accompany you. Porters carry
all trekking gears, food, fuel, & personal belongings, and
cook and assistants prepares hot meals. Trekkers carry only small
bag or what they might need during the day. we provide dining
tents, sleeping tents, mattress and toilet tents. |

TREK IN LODGE. The lodges are simple mountain shelters,
providing meals (very good local food) and simple rooms with
2 or 4 beds (Only in Ledhar and Phedi, it is a common dormitory).
In each lodge, you find a room with water (same as shower) for
bath. The treks in lodge pass in a very convivial atmosphere
permitting to have a closer look of Nepalese mountain life and
to encounter new person every day. It also permits to be in warm
room (kitchen and restaurant room) in cold season… |

FOOD DURING
TREK: Base of meals during
the trek are, rice, noodles, potatoes, (porridge for breakfast).
all are slow-sugar, its the best food for well walking. In lodge-trek
the lunch is taken in lodges on the way ( hot meal). The guide
order the food |

Note: All participants have to give a copy
of their insurance, with the address, tel and fax number of insurance
company. This insurance has to cover the helicopter rescue in
case of accident or sickness. In case of your insurance don't
cover helicopter rescue, you have to fill a form in Kathmandu
and make agreement that you will pay yourself the amount of expenses
paid by Nepal Ecology Treks for your helicopter rescue or research.
Without this agreement, you cannot participate in trek.
** In
trek the guide is allowed
to change the itinerary, depending of the weather, climate and
the physical condition of participants. Each participant who
stop his trek or make this trek more-fast cannot ask any money
compensation to the agency. |
