Day 1. Arrive to Katmandou, welcome to the airport, transfer and installation in hotel 2 stars, very near of themal , very quiet and very clean own, 2 minutesf rom the Centre of Thamel 10 minutes on foot to the DURBAR SQUARE of the Kathmandu. (the chinese embassy is open that only Monday, Wednesday and Friday in the morning . you need to be arrive in Nepal before these days. To Leave to Tibet tour you have to leave from Kathmandu on Tuesday and saturday one of these days to be able to leave for Tibet. Day 2 Morning, visit accompanied Pashupatinath and Durbar square. Afternoon, visit of big tibetain Stupa in Bodhnat.
Day 3 (Saturday or Tuesday). Departs to Lhassa by plane. Arrival Gongar Welcome at airport by your tibetian guide and depart to Lhassa by road, visit small monastery in Gongar, it's not a historical monastery, but after climbing in terrace we see the rest of foundations more then 50 constructions belonging to monastery which has been entirely shaved by the chinese during "cultural revolution". Lhassa is situated at 3650m of altitude.
Day 4. Visit Pothala, construct on the Red hill, its construction start in 1645. It was the residency of several Dalai Lamas. To the exception of the thirteenth Dalai Llama's tomb, it has practically undergone any transformation since its construction. Since the roof, we have a magnificent view on Lhassa and the pond of Kyichu valley. Visit of Norbulinka, ancient summer residence of Dalaï Lama. Afternoon, visit Tibetan medicine center.
Day 5. Visit Jokand monastery one of most ancient monastery in Lhassa, and of Barkhor, course that makes numerous times by the pilgrims tibetaines, around the Jokand Monastery. Afternoon free
Day 6. Visit of Drepung and Serra monastery. Visit Drepung monastery " Mound of Rice ", founded in 1416, there would not be in original just some building then it's became a very important religious center, it has sheltered more then 7000 monks in same way of second, third, firth and fifth Dalaï Lamas until achievement of Potala. Since 1982, more then 400 young monks try to recreate the cycle of study. Day 7. Depart to Tsurphu monastery. It is in Tsurphu monastery, where was shelted Karmapa, who had get away in 2001 to come to refugee in India. Return in afternoon at Lhassa
Day 8. Lhassa depart to Gyantsé (alt 3900m) by the Yamdrok lake (which we'll follow till 30 Km), long and super journey of road in minibus. According arrival time, visit notably of Kumbum "100.000 imaged stupa".
Day 9. Gyantse, depart to Xigatsé "city of Panchen Lama" (in road, visit of Shallu monastery in green tiles.). At Xigatsé, visit of monastery and of market.
Day 10. Xigatsé, depart to the Sakya monastery (Tibetan Buddhism center of Saky order). (Night in guesthouse, ancient Chinese military camp, accommodation very precarious).
Day 11. Depart from Sakya to Tingri (in road view of Everest).
Day 12. Depart from Tingri to Nyalam, on the road cross a pass must highest of voyage ( 5230m) and huge panoramic view on himalayan chain a succession of summit at 7000m and more then 8000m.
Day 13. Nyalam depart to Zhangmu (visit of the Millarepa cave), formalities in post of Chinese border, cross by walk of "Friendship bridge", Nepalese formalities, one our office member wait you near the "Friendship bridge" and return by local bus to Kathmandu (about 5h) Return in same hotel.
Day 14. Transfer to airport 2h 1/2 before your plane departure.
