Day 1. Arrival in Kathmandu, Reception at the
airport and transfer to the hotel (hotel 4 stars in kathmandu
center of Thamel). The arrival in Kathmandu and the covering
( handing-over ) of the passports to our agency must be prepare
all the document and visa for tibet do not be latecomer of these
day SUNDAY OR THURSDAY, the departure for Tibet by the plane
will take place onTuesday or Saturday twice days per week .
Day 2.. Kathmandu, free Day (inclusive Hotel)
Day 3. (Saturday or Tuesday) Departure to Lhassa by plane in the morning, one
hour of flight to arrive to the airport of Gongar. Welcome to
the airport by Tibétain English guide and departure for
Lhassa (90 kms, 1h 1/2 of road). Installation to the Flora hotel
or Yak, in the center of Lhassa. (the name of the hotel will
be specified you at the time of your enrollment). On the road
taking to Lhassa, visit of the small monastery of GONGAR, this
is not a historic monastery, but while bringing up on the terrace
one sees remainders of foundations besides of 50 constructions
belonging to the monastery that has been shaved entirely by the
Chinese at the time of the cultural revolution. Lhassa is situated
to 3650m of altitude. First visit of the religious center of
Lhassa, the monastery of the Jokand surrounded by the street
of the Barkhor, or Tibetan come to walk while praying (circumambulation)
around the monastery.
Day 4.
Visit of the Pothala,

Day 8
- LHASSA - GANDEN -departure
of the TREK. Passage of 2 collars to 5000m during the trek.
Lhassa, breakfast. Departure in jeep (land cruiser) for the monastery
of Ganden, fast visit and beginning of the trek in direction
of Samyé, (6h of march per day in mean). Trek under tent
with guide speaking English and cook. Portage by Yaks. Night
Under tent.
Day 9
- 10 and 11. Trek, 5
to 6 hs of march per day. Night Under tent.
Day 12
- TREK, last day of trek,
arrived to SAMYE and return to GONGAR
Coming down on Samye Fin of the four days of trek that will lead
you to the monastery. Samye is a monastery that has been constructed
to the 6 ems century by the monk come of the India Guru Rimpoche
that brought Buddha's word and created the religion Buddhist
Tibetan while adapting a part of religion that was to this moment
the the religion animist Tibetan. (this religion is always partique
and monasteries exist). This monastery had been practically erntierememnt
druid by the red guards at the time of the cultural revolution,

Day 13
-GONGARS. - KATHMANDOU
(the Tuesday
or Saturday)
Breakfast. Departure very early in morning transfer Gongar airport
and departure towards of Kathmandou by plane. This journey is
by plane one of most beautiful of the world, the panorama on
the Mount Everests, (From right in the plane you will have a
better view about on the Everest at the end of 40 minutes of
flight) views on the Makalu, Kanchanjunga, Cho-Oyu is extraordinary
and will remain engraved surely in your memory. Return in same
hotel. (Inclusive hotel)
Day 14.
Kathmandu, free morning
and transfer for the airport in the after noon. |

with 2 beds, shower (hot water) and breakfasts. Reconfirmation
of return plane ticket to your country. IN TIBET: Plane
go and back to Kathmandu-Lhassa Kathmandu. The hotels that you
would choose in standard or 3 stars with breakfasts include.
The indicated visits, entrances of monasteries and monuments
indicated on the descriptive. English speaking Tibetan guide.
Transportation to the indicated sightseeing in land cruiser or
in minibus according the size of your group. Transfer in Lhassa
airport. TREK. Trek of 5 days in full board from Ganden
departure to arrival at Samye, with english speaking Tibetan
guide. Tent with (cook) and Yaks to transport the the foods ,
tents,and your baggage. etc |

If there
is a travel which can be qualified as exceptional, it certainly
the travel from Kathmandu to Lhasa. Mysterious land, mythical
country, Tibet or "Roof of the world" has remained
very authentic because of its severe climate and the absence
of communication which have protected it for long-time from foreign
influences. Despite the Chinese efforts to suppress during the
Cultural Revolution, the religion, the traditions & the life
around the remaining monasteries are still as alive and well
preserved as Alexandra-David NEEL described at the beginning
of this century. This is a land of predilection for photography,
wild landscapes, the life and the Tibetan Buddhist religion.
But we do not go to Tibet for its gastronomy nor for the quality
of its hotels. Both can be qualified as very rudimentary and
often very precarious; we advise that for the future travellers.
Altitude is the next thing to be fully aware of. Lhassa its at
the altitude of 3600m and the most part of your journey will
be on the average altitude of 4000m and plus. |
