Day 01 Delhi / Leh (Flight)
Early in the morning transfer to airport for flight to Leh. On
arrival transfer to hotel. Leh is the capital of Ladakh. (3500m)
After few hours of rests to get used to the altitude. Start to
visit Leh palace and Leh Bazaar. Overnight in hotel stander.
Day 02 Leh
Morning sightseeing of Spituk and Phyang monasteries. Afternoon
visit Tsemo Monastery. Good view of the Lhe Bazar from the monastery.
Dinner and overnight in hotel.
Day 03 Visit Shey,Thikse and
Hemis
Morning proceed for sightseeing of Shey, old summer palace with
12 feet statue of Buddha: Thikse, the superbly situated Monastery
on a hilltop overlooking the village and the indus river and
Hemis Monastery the richest and the largest Monastery of the
area. Afternoon return to Leh. Dinner and overnight in hotel.
Day 04 Leh - Likir (Jeep 2 hrs
approx) Likir - Yangtang (Trek, 3 - 4 hours approx)
After breakfast drive to Likir by Jeep (2 hrs approx). Visit
Likir gompa. Later proceed to likir village from the monastery
and after leaving behind the last houses enter in an arid terrain,
start ascending towards a small pass Pobela, arrive at sumdo
village, cross the river and leaving sumdo on the right side,
continue in the valley for about an hour and finally reach at
the summit of the Charatse-la. It is only half an hour to Yangtang
from Charastse-la summit. Dinner and overnight in tented camp.
Day 05 Yangtang - Resong - Yangtang
(Trek, 5 hrs approx)
After breakfast trek to visit the Resong monastery with box lunch,
about two and half hours trekking (each way). Return to Yangtang
for dinner and overnight in tented camp.
Day 06 Yangtang - Ang (4 - 5
hours trek)
Proceed to Wulle valley, very close 15 minutes only, then ascent
for about 1 hour to Sermanchan-la and then descent towards Himis
Shukpachan, a big village. Here (shukpa) cedar is found in plenty,
hence the name of the village. There is beautiful gompa. After
crossing the village, there is flat land, then steep descent,
follow right side, climb a steep slope to the summit of the Meptek-la.
It is 2 hours hike from Himis-Shukpachan. Descent for about half
an hour and you are in Ang Village. Camp near the river. A path
leads to north towards shyok valley. Overnight in tented camp.
Day 07 Ang - Khalse (5 - 6 hours
trek) - Uleytokpo (Jeep 30 minutes approx)
After breakfast proceed for next half an hour which will take
you upto themisgang village. It is richest valley in Ladakh.
Apricots, apples, nuts are in plenty, houses are beautiful. A
motorable road links Themisgang with Nurla. Now you are in Tea
village, with beautiful gompa, path through fields and houses.
Above Tea is a monastery called Katza, (A path leads to shyok
via Largiab-la from Tea). Climb Bongbong-la (about one hour from
Themisgang) From here descending a long gentle slope, arrive
at barren landscape then to the national highway, where you will
be met by jeeps. Proceed to Khalsi and onward to Uleytokpo. Dinner
and overnight in camp.
Day 08 Uleytokpo - Leh
After breakfast visit Alchi gompa. Return to Uleytokpo for lunch.
Later retrace the route to Leh, enroute visit Basgo castle. Dinner
and overnight in camp.
Day 09 Leh - Nubra Valley via
Khardung-la
Departure early in the morning for Nubra valley, by crossing
the world highest motorable pass Khardong- la (5540m). After
3 hours continue drive reach in Triti village. Installation to
the camp. Afternoon visit Summur, Kyagar and on of the most famous
hot spring of Panamik village. Over night in camp.
Day 10 Nubra
Leave the camp with pack lunch to Hunder. Visit 150 years old
monastery of Hunder. Drive back to the small desert in the bank
of Shyok river. Suggest to enjoy a double hump camel ride. Afternoon
return back to Diskit the
district headquarter of Nubra valley. Visit the monastery of
Diskit. This1420 years old monastery is situated on the top hillside
of town. Evening return back to camp.
Day 11 Nubra - Leh
After breakfast leave the camp with pack lunch. After 5h of drive
reached to Leh. Night in hotel.
Day 12 Leh / Delhi (Flight)
Early morning transfer to airport for flight to Delhi. |

Plane - Delhi/Leh/Delhi. All the treks in full board.
Lodging under tent, all the transports (go/back on the places
of trek and during the trek). Entrances fee of monuments and
monasteries Accompanied by a professional guide, and Minimum
3 Horses, Donkey or Mules for 2 persons to carry your bags and
equipments (maximum 25 kg for 2 persons). Meals are prepared
by cook and kitchen boy. IN Leh: Welcome at the airport,
transfer hotel/airport. Stander hotel in Leh (near center of
town) with breakfast, Trekking permit and special trek permits.

with historic arts of the Tibetan religion which represents the
daily life's of Ladakihis. In several months Villages are completely
